Visiting Alfriston or walking the South Downs Way? Badgers Tea House welcomes walk-ins throughout the day, making us the perfect place to stop for tea, homemade cakes, freshly baked scones or a traditional cream tea. We operate a walk-in service only and do not accept reservations.

As a family-run tea house, we’re committed to reducing food waste while serving fresh, homemade food each day. Our cakes, scones and other treats are made in carefully considered quantities, which means popular items can occasionally sell out and, on particularly busy days, we may close a little earlier than usual.
